Sanja Matsuri, is the biggest of Tokyo's traditional 'Three Grand Festivals'. Three-day weekend of boisterous traditional mikoshi (portable shrine) processions through the streets of Asakusa, with plenty of drinking, eating, dancing and music organised by the Senso-ji temple in Tokyo. Over two million people festival goers draws into the streets of Asakusa, Tokyo.
