KUMAMOTO, JAPAN - APRIL 21: A car used for temporary shelter by quake survivors is seen early in the morning of April 21, 2016 in Mashiki Gymnasium parking area, Kumamoto, Japan. Hundreds of evacuees are sleeping in their cars. According to health experts 20 people have been diagnosed with serious health issues as a result; one had died and 2 remain critical.
To date 45 people are confirmed dead and around 11,000 people have evacuated after an 6.5 earthquake on Thursday night and a stronger 7.3 quake on Saturday morning struck the Kyushu Island in western Japan.
